Terms and Conditions for Sale of Educational Books

By purchasing books from Maitri Sanskar, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with your purchase.

2. Products

We offer a range of educational books intended to support value education.  Product descriptions and specifications are provided to the best of our ability. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is accurate or complete.

3. Orders

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to reject any order for any reason, including but not limited to issues with payment, availability, or suspected fraud.

4. Pricing and Payment

• Pricing: Prices are inclusive of taxes and are listed in Indian Rupees and are subject to change without notice. Shipping costs are additional and will be calculated at checkout.

• Payment Methods: We accept online payments through UPI, Net banking, credit and debit cards. Payment must be completed at the time of order.

5. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and will be displayed at checkout.

• Delivery Time: Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

• International Orders: We are not accepting any international orders temporarily.

 

6.  Returns and Cancellation:

 Returns:

• Eligibility: Returns are accepted for school books under the following conditions:

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a book that is damaged or defective, please contact us within [number of days, e.g., 7 days] of receiving the item. We will arrange for a replacement.

  • Incorrect Items: If you receive an incorrect book, please notify us within [number of days, e.g., 7 days] of receipt. We will send the correct book.

• Return Process: To return a book, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at info@maitrisanskar.org, to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN). You may also contact us at 98110 47414

  2. Pack the book securely in its original packaging.

  3. Include a copy of the original receipt or proof of purchase.

  4. Handover book to our logistics partner who will come for the pickup.

Cancellation: Orders once placed cannot be cancelled.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on our website, including text, graphics, and images, are owned by Maitri Sanskar or its Licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use this content without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maitri Sanskar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the sale of our educational books. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your purchase shall be limited to the amount paid for the books.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our website or services constitutes your acceptance of any revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi.
